Good Story 200: Bluebeard

Just before recording this podcast, Scott broke into Julie's house and replaced all the artwork with velvet paintings of dogs playing poker. Their special guest Marc may or may not have been appalled. Episode 200(!)'s subject is Kurt Vonnegut's Bluebeard.

    1. I've read a lot of Vonnegut, but not this one. So now will have to remedy that.

I became a big Vonnegut fan in High School. My father had Slaughterhouse 5 in his library, so I started with that. And a friend of his also had a bunch of his novels, which I borrowed. Especially a fan of his early SF novels.

Plus love the whole Kilgore Trout thing. In a related manner, James Blaylock and friend Tim Power sometimes alluded to a fake poet named William Ashbless in their novels. Blaylock by the way if often credited with the first Steampunk novel.
