Greta discussion on this film. I can't think of any other movie in recent memory that so depends on its final scene. While I appreciated the acting, the technical merits, and a few key moments (for some reason I'm a sucker for movie scenes which show smart people figuring things out), the film didn't really resonate emotionally with me until that last moment where he sits alone and isolated, continually refreshing his screen. That's when everything clicked (pun intended) for me.
ReplyDeleteAgreed. I normally am not fond of movies where the final scene pulls it all together, but this one works. Glad you are listening in! :-)
