Good Story 022: The Social Network



Episode 22! Julie and Scott talk about The Social Network, a movie written by Aaron Sorkin, then decide to sue Mark Zuckerberg for wearing flip flops in the snow.

You know, you really don't need a forensics team to get to the bottom of this. If you guys were the inventors of Facebook, you'd have invented Facebook.

  1. Greta discussion on this film. I can't think of any other movie in recent memory that so depends on its final scene. While I appreciated the acting, the technical merits, and a few key moments (for some reason I'm a sucker for movie scenes which show smart people figuring things out), the film didn't really resonate emotionally with me until that last moment where he sits alone and isolated, continually refreshing his screen. That's when everything clicked (pun intended) for me.
