What I love are the short stories Hitchcock was inspired by - Patricia Highsmith and Rebecca du Maurier.
ReplyDeleteYes, they are their own sort of art. I tend to like what Hitchcock did better than the inspirations, but it is interesting to think of it as his artistic impression of their ideas. Which I tend to forget.
